Please use this site to get information on the workings of brush chipping, yard waste collection, park reservations, summer building projects, community events, and all of your other needs. If you can not find it here, call us! We are here to help, and you will find what you need by calling the City Offices between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Your call will be answered by a person during normal business hours! Yay!
This is also budget season for the City of Swartz Creek. As you are aware, revenue sources for Michigan cities are drying up as state funding sources and property values drop. This is making the provision of services and infrastructure (primarily street repairs) more difficult.
Furthermore, the City has recently been served a notice of bankruptcy and tax appeal from its largest tax payer, General Motors. Please help your City Council through this process by attending public hearings and other meetings on the budget and the City's infrastructure funding plans. Or simply stop by, call, or email your elected officials or city staff to get more information. Thats what we are here for. We know that times are difficult and the work still needs to get done. Look to this site and you local news for updates.

There is also a lot of downloadable content for planning and building services. Furthermore, you can find all of the City Council Packets, including mintues, under the online services tab.
